In September 2016 I went to pay my respects to all those that went in harm's way and landed on the beaches of Normandy. 

​Thank you and I thank each and every one of our Veterans. 

As I stood on Omaha Beach with my back to the ocean staring at the German gun emplacements, all I could think of was those brave young men who gave everything for us.

One of the most moving moments of Normandy is visiting the Normandy American Cemetery. Thousands of white granite crosses and stars of david.
Beautiful in its symmetry and so sad. With all due respect I stood one of my Veterans art next to a Medal of Honor recipient.
