What makes a great image?
Timing, Location, Lighting? LUCK!!!!! ALL.

These images I've taken are from years of learning to beware of the world around me.
These are the moments I've preserved and captured and if you love them as many others do they are available to you.

Take your time and as you ponder them think for a moment of how I waited and then was rewarded with being at the right place, time and moment to capture them.
All of the images are natural lighting nothing has been enhanced in any computer.
Each image is available for purchase printed with archival inks on archival paper
lasting at least 100 years.

                                                               Heart Light
As the morning mist broke across the North Shore of LI, I was drawn to watching the sunlight flow across a large red plant. Within moments its light formed a heart. I knew the love of the day was being sent to me, and now to you.

It was there in a heartbeat of a moment, I was standing in a church in the city of Arles, France for a few seconds it was amazing then as if it did not happen it vanished. I cannot describe the feeling of being there other than being so lucky to have been given this moment.

                                                                 Lost In Time
While visiting the Museum D'Orsay in Paris I was transfixed watching this young woman who slowly walked to a large window overlooking the Seine and the Lourve. She just stood there transfixed what was she thinking? I caught the moment and after is was over I walked up to her and showed her the picture. She loved it and I gave it to her. This is one of those rare moments, everyone loves this picture,

                                                          River of Dreams
The mind is lost in it's own space watching as dreams slowly drift by. There is no other time then sunrise that brings such color. This was taken on the River Seine just out side Giverney, France.

                                                            Natures Sculpture
While walking along the North Shore of LI imbedded in a river wall of stone was this magnificent tree. How long was it there? How many years did it take to wash away its color?
How fantastic to see a symphony in black and white.

Heart Break.  Where Do You Live?
This buildings windows are over 100 years old and how many have lived there, piecing together cardboard, plastic, wood with the hope of protecting themselves from prying eyes and the elements.
The building is in Tribeca, New York facing another building with no sunlight. I took the picture from the NY Academy of Art facing the back of the building.

                                                  Trinity Church Wall Street
Very early one morning it stuck me how the shadows dimmed the church but the sun high lighted the cross. A call to come to God, maybe. Still quite beautiful.
