Defense of the Species
Fog and mist rolls in and shrouds the meadows across the land.
The fog breaks it’s silence and the artist Larry Aarons shows the true nature of poignant survival with a new series "Defense of the Species."

Provocative Art has long been the manifestation for awareness and change and it sells. This is why I created “Defense of the Species” art.
Thinking art. Provocative art, Emotional Art.

Successfully launched this past December at Miami Art Basel / Scope, in ArtVoices Magazine.  “Defense of the Species” is also featured in a new art book 101 Contemporary artists.

Gathered form across the globe my sculptures point right to your heart and mind. These are unique with juxtaposition of defense masks and animal skulls creates a visual twist that cannot be ignored.

"Defense of the Species." raises consciousness about the beauty and the right of all creatures to exist on the planet.

Along with the opportunity of owning limited edition archival images of either the original art ,
you can also choose from my new photo series “Art In The Wilderness.”   “Art In The Wilderness” brings a visual enticement with the juxtaposition of my sculpture outdoors and a new stark awareness.

The sculptures are of reclaimed skulls and defense masks were created to starkly awake the viewer to the cruelty to which humans subject other species.
A percent of sales will go to World Wild Life Fund.

All images are created and printed in limited editions of 10 in high quality archival prints with archival inks.
