Juror, Liz Jorg Masi spent several hours reviewing the more than 150 entries for this show and you are one of the artist whose work was selected. |
My month long show ended in October. I loved the gallery I felt like my art was hanging in a museum. Over 100+ people attended the openings. With multiple originals being sold and giclee prints as well. The Hutchins Art Gallery at LIU in Brookville LI. One of the most important galleries on Long Island honored me with a one man show. This is the largest show of my career with over 40 works of art to be seen. |

What does it mean to give ones all in the face of danger? To sustain the effects and changes that war brings, it means they have served. A short time ago I was honored to be asked to create a piece of art to honor our Vets. This was a request not to be taken lightly it meant what I do would hopefully have an effect in some positive way. I started off thinking how can I create a piece that would make someone think, respond and feel the emotion and connect with one of our Vets who has given to so much.
It was not easy but I have finished my contribution to this most worthy effort.
These warriors are my proud countrymen and I honor them and I am very proud to share with you the art I have created.
My art is a mixed media piece I created my art in a poster form for all who want one and a percentage of all sales will go to those who have served. I already have sold some.
